Our Caffé D'arte family staff, customers, and friends are deeply saddened by the recent passing of our former master roaster, Sergio Barella.
Sergio was one of our first master roasters. He poured his passion and knowledge into maintaining the highest of standards in all of our coffees. Sergio continued these standards from his first day with D'arte in 1995 until his retirement in 2016. His big heart, soft smile, and willingness to help anyone reminds us all to enjoy life the way he did.
Even though he has not worked for Caffé D'arte for five years, he remained close, and we will dearly miss his periodic visits to check up on us all. His legacy will live on in the knowledge and passion that he imparted on our next generation of roasters.
